Egg Pepper Masala Fry

Egg Pepper Masala Fry

Eggs are my savior when it comes to the “cooking for one” days. I feel too lazy to cook an elaborate meal for oneself. So, I prefer to have some quick egg dishes in my meal as they also ensure that I am getting the required protein. So, if you are bored of boiled eggs or not having enough vegetables or looking for a quick side dish then here is another lazy day lunch or dinner side recipe which is Egg Pepper Masala Fry.

This is a popular dish of the South, where they call it Muttai Milagu Varuval or Egg Pepper Roast and they serve it with dal or rasam as the side dish. I stir fry the eggs with onions, few spices and gave it a South Indian touch by adding mustard seeds and curry leaves and it turned out to be really good. I have made this spicy egg pepper fry thrice since the first time I had it. Black Pepper powder being the most important ingredient of this dish, add amazing taste and flavor to the fried eggs.
