Finally, I am back to blogging after a longgg break. Although I was active on my other social media handles yet I missed this space a lot. Okay, so what was keeping me busy? Well, it was some family commitments followed by viral fever 🙁
Family functions include lots and lots of good food and talks. So, now I must return back to my healthy eating and detox mode. Smoothies come to my mind whenever I think of something healthy and quick for breakfast. I love the texture of smoothies and the flavor of fruits in it. Strawberry banana smoothie is one of my personal favorites. But, when strawberries are not available I use some other fruits. Pomegranates are almost always available in my house because those red shining crystals are so nutritious and possess numerous health benefits so it’s always a good idea to include them in your diet. So, this time, I thought of making pomegranate smoothie.
The seeds of the pomegranate can give it a texture so if you don’t like the seeds in your smoothie you can replace it with pomegranate juice. I love to add bananas in it as they act as a natural sweetener and compliments the acerbity or tartness of the pomegranates in a good way.
