The Aam penna recipe is very simple and it is made using simple ingredients Raw mangoes, fresh mint, sugar, salt and roasted cumin powder.

Instructions
  1. Put the raw mangoes and pressure cooker them. (1 whistle on high flame and one on the slow flame)
  2. Let the mangoes cool down.
  3. Mash the mangoes to take out all the pulp. You can use the same water to make panna.
  4. Grind the mint leaves and the pulp with little water to make a smooth paste.
  5. Add 5-6 cups of water to the pulp.
  6. Add sugar, salt, roasted cumin powder, and black salt to the mango pulp mixed with water.
  7. Mix till the sugar dissolves
  8. Adjust sugar and salt according to your taste. Add more water if required
  9. Keep it in the refrigerator to chill it for a few hours before serving
  10. Garnish with mint leaves and ice cubes before serving
  11. Serve chilled.
