  1. Take the gram flour, semolina, citric acid/lemon juice, ginger and green chilli paste, sugar, and salt in a deep bowl. Mix them with 3/4th cup of water. Do the same till no lumps remain in the said bowl.
  2. Add 1 tbsp and fruit salt to the mixture. Mix it gently once the bubbles start to form.
  3. Now, pour half of the batter into a greased microwave dish. Microwave the same for 2 minutes while keeping it high.
  4. Repeat the above step to get one more batch of Khaman Dhokla in a microwave. Keep them aside.
  5. Take a small microwave-safe bowl and heat oil in it.
  6. Add sesame seeds, mustard seeds, asafoetida, and chopped green chilies to the oil. Keep it on high flame for a minute.
  7. Pour this tempering in equal quantities over the Dhokla.
  8. Now, cut the Khaman Dhokla into pieces as per your choice. Garnish with coriander and serve them with the chutney of your choice.
