  1. Soak 1/2 cup of Masoor Dal for 6-7 Hours or Overnight
  2. Spread it on Kitchen Towel or Paper Towel to remove the water
  3. Make sure the dal is completely dry before frying
  4. Prepare the spice mix – Add 1/2 Tsp Chaat Masala, 1/4 Tsp Red Chilly Powder, 1/4 Tsp Black Salt, Pinch of Hing/Asafoetida
  5. Heat Oil in a Pan till smoking point. Add dal in batches and fry untill it floats on top
  6. Transfer in a bowl and add 1/2 cup of nylon sev
  7. Add the spice mix and mix it will
  8. Allow it to cool completely
  9. Store in airtight container and enjoy with Tea
