Moong dal halwa has always been a famous and tasty dessert in Indian kitchens. Its taste and nutrition-packed serving is something that I really liked about it. Especially when the season is cool cool this Indian halwa tends to keep our body warm and provides us with adequate amount of calories. Nutritional Facts about Moong Dal Halwa:
Moong dal contains a good amount of magnesium and potassium in its serving hence, it helps in regulating the blood pressure.
Each serving of Moong dal halwa contains 212 calories and is rich in carbohydrates, protein, and fats which fulfill the energy requirement of the body, especially in winters.
Points to remember while preparing Moong Dal Halwa at Home without soaking:
1. It’s actually the roasting time and efficiency that determines the color of your Moong dal halwa, although, you can always add artificial color to it.
2. You are free to add mawa while preparing the halwa as well. It can go with the milk itself while preparation.
3. Quantity of sugar, dry fruits, ghee, etc. depends on the personal taste of different
individuals and may vary from person to person.
