Staycation Experience at Hyatt Pune
Imagine waking up to the view of serene garden full of greenery on a weekend but being very much in the city. Sounds dreamy, right? Well, believe me that exactly what we experienced at Hyatt Pune. Well, this new momma needed a break and change from the regular routine. A relaxing staycation is what is comes to mind when think of a weekend plan with the baby. Short road trip, change of place, with activities within the property is ideal for us. We were more than happy to travel to Pune from Navi Mumbai when we received the invite from Hyatt Pune to experience staycation at their property. We were excited and a bit nervous as it was our first trip with our little one and definitely was going to be very special for us.
We left around 9 am from our place for Hyatt Pune. The journey was comfortable and baby slept most of the time. We checked in our Garden Suite and I was like an excited happy kid after seeing the beautiful private garden attached to our suite. Full of greenery, with a table placed in the center of the garden and lounge chairs on one side. It felt like we were at some resort far away from the city. Simply beautiful it is <3
As it was raining so we skipped the pool plan and after resting for a while we headed down for our lunch at Eighty Eight, a multi-cuisine restaurant that offers buffet and a-la carte options. We had the Chef’s special meal curated for us along with refreshing mocktails. I loved the Spring vegetable lasagna and Chicken Milanese. How can I not mention about the desserts here. We had theeee most pretty looking and delicious Tiramisu and White Chocolate Apricot Bavarian. Ten on ten for the presentation and taste. You can’t resist clicking pictures of this for sure.
The next on the agenda was Spa. Ah! Something I needed badly and was really looking forward to it. The are launching the Aroma Candle Wax Spa in the month of November. We opted for it and it was amazing, refreshing in every way. The session is designed to rejuvenate your body and relieve stress.
For the dinner time as due to the Assembly Elections the sale of liquor was prohibited therefore, the stunning lounge Fish Bowl was closed. So, we decided to relax and have dinner in the room. Relished the Indian spread in the room along with chilled and yum Rabri Falooda for dessert.
The next morning, enjoyed the morning cup of tea with the view of the garden attached to our suite. While the baby was sleeping we enjoyed the breakfast like champions. The breakfast spread had freshly made waffles, pancakes topped with oodles of maple syrup, and South Indian items along with piping hot masala chai. The in-room dining service was dot on time. We lingered in our room till it was almost lunch time.
We headed for our lunch at Baan Tao, the award wining Pan-Asian restaurant that serves authentic Chinese, Thai, Malay, Indonesian delicacies in an exquisite ambience. They had an amazing Thai Food Festival going on and we loved the options offered. The interiors are simply classy. Enjoying our meal with the soothing sounds of the outdoor waterfall which was the attraction and perfect for picture spot. We absolutely loved the Tom Kha soup and the Chicken Gyrzo and asked for another serving of the same. The Sunday brunch is has a vast menu and the spread extends from Ban Tao till Eighty Eight and is called the “Crossover Brunch” with Asian, Indian & Western favorites.
After this delicious lunch, it was time to say goodbye to the warm and courteous hospitality of the hotel. We absolutely loved our stay and couldn’t have asked for any better first staycation than this with our little one. We were refreshed, rejuvenated & full of memories of our perfect staycation at Hyatt Pune. Thank you Hyatt Pune for hosting us and pampering us.
