Course: side dish

Egg Pepper Masala Fry

Eggs are my savior when it comes to the “cooking for one” days. Here is another lazy day lunch or dinner side recipe which is Egg Pepper Masala Fry.
This is a popular dish of the South, where they call it Muttai Milagu Varuval or Egg Pepper Roast and they serve it with dal or rasam as the side dish. I stir fry the eggs with onions, few spices and gave it a South Indian touch by adding mustard seeds and curry leaves and it turned out to be really good.

Mint- Yogurt Dip

Mint- Yogurt Dip

Mint yogurt dip tastes totally amazing. You can enjoy this with any appetizer (tikka , cutlets or parathas) as it gives a good refreshing twist to the regular chutney or even you can have it with any meal as raita.

Coconut Chutney with Tomatoes.. A Tangy Twist !!

Coconut Chutney with Tomatoes.. A Tangy Twist !!

South Indian food is incomplete without coconut chutney. The traditional coconut chutney is simply made by mixing coconut with curd ( usually what we get in restaurants) I always wanted to make some change in the traditional recipe. So, I added tomatoes and onion to it and the result was really nice. I liked the color and flavor of this variant. So, you can also try it to see how it works for you 🙂 Serve it with any other dish like moong dal chillas or rawa dosa, etc. Try it and share your feedback 🙂 Continue reading Coconut Chutney with Tomatoes..
