Ingredients

moong dal
soaked
2 – 3
chilies
green

cumin seeds
1/2
tablespoon
coriander seed

asafoetida

coriander leaves

Instructions
Soak moong dal in water overnight or for 3-4 hours. Drain the excess water and add the dal to the grinder.
Add coriander leaves, green chilies, and asafoetida to the moong dal and grind to make a smooth paste. (Add water if required)
Transfer the batter in a bowl and add salt, crushed coriander seeds(optional) and mix together everything well.
Heat oil in a pan for deep frying. Drop spoonful of moong dal batter in medium hot oil and fry till it is golden and crispy from all the sides.
Serve immediately these hot moon dal bhajiyas / pakoras or fritters with green chutney, tamarind chutney or tomato sauce and enjoy .
